In this article, we will see the steps to take a memory dump of a running process (say, for example, BizTalk360 Monitoring service) using Windows Task Manager.
Make sure you run the correct bit version of the task manager(32 bit or 64 bit) you can find the the 32bit task manager under <C:\Windows\SysWOW64 folder and the name of the file is taskmgr.exe>.
To take a memory dump follow the step below,
- Open the task manager.
- Right click the process and select "Create Dump file"
- Once the dump process is completed ,click the OK to close the window.
